"You don't remind me of what I lost, you show me what I have to look forward to. Can't you see that? Can't you understand that when I look at you I see my future?"

Oh Bella, Bella, Bella... I'll say even though I have loved Noah since his cute little boy days until now that he has Shalan, I'll give Isabella a higher rating than him because of the story. Jennifer Foor gutted me in this book and although I have no similar experience like what Bella went through in this book, there's always something about reading a fellow woman going through betrayal and standing tall through everything.

Isabella Mitchell, the daughter of Miranda Healy and Tyler Mitchell, has always been close to her cousin, Noah. It's a really adorable friendship they have since they were little kids and that bond they have is even stronger now that they are adults. Izzy or Bella or Bells to Noah, kind of reminds me of Miranda's story. Getting pregnant from a jerk and then having a knight in shining armor to save the day. Although in Mitchell family sense, that knight in shining armor is a romantic alpha with issues of his own, too.

Russell "Rusty" Tillman works at the Mitchell ranch. He's quiet, sexy, and is dealing with his own past. Until he started noticing Isabella. Isabella is in her mid-twenties, Rusty is in his early thirties. The age difference may have been a factor why the rest of the Mitchell family didn't approve of their relationship but oh, how I love age gaps in romance, men being older especially. The age difference between Rusty and Bella isn't bad, at least it's not for me. But then again, that's not the only issue these two have when it comes to their relationship. Rusty's past isn't something I considered when I was in my early stages of trying to guess what he's running from, it's sad and made me tear up.

Jennifer Foor had me eating up this story, wanting to find out more even at times my heart's already breaking for two for Bella and then for Rusty and then for both of them as a couple. The tight knit family relationship is still present in this book, every family member has an impact to the story, has a voice and somehow, even just a little bit, made a difference to the Bella and Rusty's story.
