REVIEW: Finding My Way (Beaumont #4) - Heidi McLaughlin

4.5 Heartbreaking Stars!

If you haven’t read any of the books in The Beaumont Series yet, you should get on it already. If you’re going to ask me if I would recommend you to read Finding My Way before Forever My Girl, just so you can “start at the beginning”, I wouldn’t know what to answer you.

There is something about Heidi McLaughlin’s writing that got me hooked not just to the series but the stories in there and the beautiful, real-life feel of the characters. Finding My Way made feel.
Liam Page Westbury made me swoon. He made me ache for him. He made me cry for him. I felt his pain, the pressure and expectations of everyone around him. I was worried for him, that at any moment he’ll breakdown and just give up. But more importantly, I understood his story and why he, an 18-year old young man, ended up hurting and abandoning the 3 people he claimed to love more than anything. It wasn’t easy especially with the crazy emotions I was having but I understood why he felt it’s the only way he can achieve what he wants for himself and not what others expect of him. I don’t 100% with all the decisions he has and how he went about things, but maybe I’m speaking as a much older person right now, but I understand.

REVIEW: Loving Mr. Daniels - Brittainy C. Cherry

4 Tearstained Stars!
RELEASE DATE: MAY 13, 2014

"Memories were scary, how they could break you with simply your own thoughts."

Heart wrenching, emotional, and a deeply touching story about family and love. These feelings are what reading Loving Mr. Daniels has gotten out of me.

This is my first Brittainy Cherry book, I didn’t know what to expect of her writing and storytelling, and now, I am extremely blown away by it! She managed to tug at my emotions and made me cry at 3% of the book. At the rate I’m going with books making me cry more than usual, I’m starting to keep track on how far along before I bawl my eyes out, and with Daniel and Ashlyn’s story, I did early on in the book.
