Layers is the first book in a 2-part serial by Sigal Ehrlich and is about Daniel Stark and Hayley Grace. Two people who are as different as two people can get yet at the same time, their differences are what's interesting about their relationship. It's like those are the best things about them. An outspoken girl to a guy who keeps to himself, a reserved girl to a confident guy. But even with their differences, their similarities are also unmissable. They are both fierce in their own way and fight for what they stand for and their feelings for each other? They embrace it. Together.
And okay, there might be bits here and there where I think about other similar books, there's nothing specific and it's just a feeling I got but Layers also has its own emotions written in it. It was like reading all my favorite billionaires, taking up my favorite thing about each of them and reading them all in one book. A beautiful, witty, says-what's-on-her-mind heroine and a cocky, rich, protective hero who have an intense, love affair.

A sexy, not too erotic yet still hot, emotionally charged love story with a good sprinkle of sarcasm to be funny, this debut novel by Sigal Ehrlich is a good and intriguing one and I can't wait to get my hands on the continuation of Daniel and Hayley's story.
