5 Made-Me-Cry Stars!!!
I would like to note that this review is written after several re-reads. The first draft I made got lost somewhere so this will be a short one.
Oh. My. Gosh. I remember not expecting anything from this book and that I 1-clicked this when it was on sale at $0.99 and because I'm a sucker for Kindle sales and second-chance romance. When I started reading… I couldn't put it down!

I immediately got hooked after the first page because of the emotions there, and that doesn't happen too often. Given that that emotion wasn't really a good one, it just sunk deep and I kept reading more until I finished at 4 in the morning! I cried and laughed and fell in love with the Beaumont characters instead of going to sleep and I don't regret a single second.
Forever My Girl is the emotional, second-chance love story of Liam Westbury/Paige and Josie Prescott, high school sweethearts who separated in college and haven't seen or heard from each other for 10 years.
"People don't disappear without a freaking phone call or letter for ten years. People don't show up at your dorm and break up with the one they said they love and never return phone calls."
Heidi McLaughlin writes a beautiful story of loss, forgiveness, love, and family. Every single turn of the pages is full of different emotions that I am sure we've all felt at some point and even if I didn't, I read this feeling my heart was being squeezed out of my body from all the hurt and love in this book. And it's not just about Josie and Liam. Their good friends also played a part in their story and I love how broad the story of their bestfriends played in their relationship without losing the focus on Josie and Liam.
"When things changed for me I wanted to die, but Katelyn and Mason held me together. They were my glue. The love of my life didn't die, he just decided I was no longer what he needed in life and went away."
I've re-read this more than a handful of times already I lost count. Sometimes, just skimming through the good parts and sometimes, going through all the pages. This is a very beautiful story to read if you're looking for a love story that's not all teeny-bopper sweet but with realistic situations and emotions.
"Move in with me? You and Noah move here and we'll be a family. I want you to call this your home. I want to do normal things with you like go grocery shopping and meet you for lunch at work."

Stars: 5 I love Liam stars!
Recommended to: Everyone who enjoys second-chance romance, high-school sweethearts, years-after stories, and wants to laugh, cry, and fall in love.
POV: First person. Dual POV. (I love dual povs!)
Series: Yes. But stand-alone.
Cliffhanger: No.
