Daniel and Mac are back! See that, it even rhymed! The hilariously adorable couple is gracing everyone again with their funny banters, steamy sexy sex scenes, and sugar sweet lovin'.
BJ Harvey did not disappoint in giving us the story of these two after Temporary Bliss and the glimpses we saw of them from the other stories in this fun romantic series.
I was excited when the author announced that there will be a novella for Daniel and Mac, after those bonus chapters at the end of True Bliss. Babies, wedding preparation, marriage… family life, I am a sucker for these kinds of HEA no matter how cliché it may be, it just all depends on how it's written. BJ Harvey made sure that this installment, Permanent Bliss, is as enjoyable and sexy as it was in the beginning of their relationship.
"Then there is my deep-seated fear that Mac is going to bolt. I know it's irrational, especially when nothing she's done in the past eighteen months has given me any indication that she is unhappy or not committed to our future together…"
Fourteen days before the wedding and with two almost 2-year olds, how much craziness can the Superman and Gorgeous and well, the entire gang, get into? There's the very amusing bachelor and bachelorette parties, the best man and his plus one issue, and there's Daniel's teeny tiny bit uncertainty that Mac might change her mind and realize her previous "lifestyle" works better for her than being a mom and a soon-to-be-wife.
"He treats me with respect, he listens to what I say and everything in our lives is discussed and agreed upon. We're in a true partnership, not just two people in a relationship."
But Mac proved Daniel (and me) wrong. I love seeing the love between them grow deeper and that Mac is sensitive to Daniel's feelings and makes sure that he knows she's committed, she tells him her feelings without any qualms. I believe their relationship is more stable and not just because they now have kids but because they communicate and in some way, more secure about each other.
I like how BJ Harvey writes this series, with spunk and romance very well blended!
I look forward to more novellas on the gang!

I’m riveted and distracted as he walks around to the driver’s window and hands him the money to pay my fare before he walks back around and opens my door. Clutching my bag of dirty fun in one hand and my purse in the other, I look up at him in awe as he stands there with his hand out and a perceptive grin.
“C’mon, gorgeous. Time to come inside.”
“Thought that was your job,” I say, forgetting that I’m sitting inside the cab and within earshot of the driver.
Daniel laughs before grabbing my hand and helping me to my very shaky feet, causing me to reach out and grab his biceps. “Shit,” I mutter under my breath as I’m gently moved sideways so that he can shut the car door behind me.
With a double tap on the roof of the cab, he bends slightly before scooping me up into his arms, one wrapped around my shoulders and the other underneath my knees. “Whoa, Superman. Pulling out all the stops?” I lean forward so that my mouth is right by his ear. “You do know I’m a sure thing tonight, right?”
