Aurora Rose Reynolds knows what she's doing when she writes her alpha, insta-love stories! First line into Justified and I had my eyes bulging out and fanning myself already. I'm not a big fan of insta-love, it's always a hit and miss with me and the only author that I can remember who can pull off such stories is her.
If you've read The Until Series, you're familiar with how this author writes her heroes. Foul-mouthed, protective, broody, and sexy as hell. Nolan is no different from the Until guys, if possible, I think Nolan is even more alpha than the Mason brothers and I got all tingly just reading him!
Justified is a short, fast-paced, complete story. I admire how Aurora Rose Reynolds managed to write an eight-chapter book with a sweet Epilogue complete with all the elements I love in my stories -- sweet, suspense, steam. Check, check, check! I believe I also have to mentioned that because this is fast-paced and rather quick, some may find Nolan and Chloe's relationship "too insta" or lacking development, I see their point but overall, I enjoyed the story and writing and considered that this is shorter than the usual novels and regardless of the length, I felt it did the story well without cutting off important parts. Everything was written, from how they met to their pasts - albeit short, it was there - to the conflict and resolution and finally to the sweet Epilogue.
I had a good time reading Nolan and Chloe's steamy story!

Recommended to: If you're in the mood for a quick read to make you swoon and get your heart beating out of your chest from all the sexiness and mystery, Justified might do it for you.
