"Maybe now, with my new life a train wreck, I would discover the real Chloe Madison."
There is always something about Alessandra Torre's books that has this silver-or-big-screen feel to it every time I read them. Love, Chloe is just like that. It's like watching a new fun, romantic, sexy, comedy series on Netflix and I love Netflix!
We've always known the rugs to riches stories, but with Chloe, it's the other way around -- her story is about her riches to (well, somewhat) rugs tumble. And if you have read any of this author's books, you would know how gifted she is in writing vivid characters and stories, making her readers picture what they are reading clear in their imaginations. This book is such an entertaining reading experience I couldn't put down!
What I relished more was that Love, Chloe is more than just a romance read. It really was more about Chloe's journey from being a spoiled snob who enjoys designer things and the luxury of AmEx to someone who settles as assistant to one of the bitchiest person and needs to budget her salary and rent. Like watching a new TV show, a lot was happening in the story but all of it was a part of Chloe's growth into this, as Cammie's words, a "nicer, smarter, and sees things differently now" person. And it's true.
Love, Chloe is a refreshingly sassy sexy read and I loved and enjoyed every little bit of this book. Yes, even the desperate ex, the un-parent-like parents, but most of all, Chanel!
Alessandra Torre is an exceptional writer and she shows it with every story she publishes. Love, Chloe is a must read for everyone who is going through a tough life. Let Carter and Chloe inspire you with their journey in life and love and give you hope that everything will turn out for the best.
