It seems like I have a habit of reading books that are part of a series that I haven't started from the beginning. I'm lucky, though, because all those books are from standalone series. That doesn't take away the fact that after reading them, I end up catching up from the beginning. Sinner's Steel is now one of those books that got me curious what happened in the first parts, and I was curious not because I couldn't connect with the story or the characters, but because Sarah Castille made it so that you will enjoy the book and would want to read the rest of the series if you haven't already.
Sinner's Steel has the perfect ingredients that hit the spot for me - second-chance romance, friends to lovers, action, comedy, steam, raw emotions, and kids! Mix it all together and Sarah Castille writes the badass MC romance that had me clutching my chest, questioning each characters' intentions, and how Evie and Zane will get through to their past and finally have their happily ever after.

Evie and Zane's early relationship came to an unexpected end 9 years ago. Ironically, the beginning of their more-than-friendship-romance started the same night it ended. Evie was left behind with a reminder of their love, and Zane got into the "biker lifestyle". When their paths crossed again, it felt like the past 9 years was only yesterday. The chemistry that they once had is still present and no matter how hard Evie tried to hold back, she can't. I admire her for her decisions even though there were moments where I wanted to strangle Evie from her back and forth about her feelings.
With all of these things, Sinner's Steel isn't just a biker romance book but also about second chances not just in love but in life, friendship, and loyalty. Sarah Castille weaves a story that will grip to your emotional strings and will make you feel like the club members are your brothers, too!
