I love it when I see something on NetGalley that interests me, get a copy, and ends up falling in love with it. This was what Marquita Valentine did to me with When We Fall. This is my first book by the author, so I was not expecting too much out of it. I just hoped that I would, at least, get entertained by the characters and the story. But you know what happened? I fell in love.
I was on vacation when I started reading this... on the plane... while at the beach... before sleeping. All in one day. I read most while I was at the beach and realized that When We Fall is an easy, sweet enough read to be one of the perfect books to read while relaxing under the sun. I loved Piper and Jase's chemistry! Even when Jase was fighting off his feelings, he was still sweet. Well, at least sweet to me, but I might just be biased because I loved him right from the start. He was a cool hero to read and Piper is a sweet heroine.
Obviously, I'm all about the sweet with this book and I recommend this to everyone who digs a rich girl, bad boy cute and sexy romance to read.
