Damn, this book is hot. I was only at the first page and I was already hooked until the end. I love the mystery that Roxy Sloane had going on in Vaughn and Keely’s story. I thought it would only be about the person who hired Vaughn to seduce Keely, what that person’s intentions are. But it turns out, there’s something more deeper and intriguing issue behind it all.
The Seduction is the first part in this new novella serial from Roxy Sloane. I guarantee you’ll be left hanging and wanting more of Vaughn.
Vaughn is a sexy, dirty-mouthed, confident man who oozes sex and seduction. Vaughn will have your panties in a twist and you will possibly need a very cold drink while reading and then a very cold shower afterward. He knows what he’s talking about and he definitely “walks the talk”. In all the jobs he has accepted in seducing women for whatever reason, he never dealt with anyone telling him “no.” That is until his next target -- Keely Fawes.
Keely is a struggling, young woman who is working as a paralegal. She is quite shy and timid but like what the saying goes “the good girls are the wildest in bed”, or you know… something along that line. Being in a 9-month sex drought, Vaughn’s seduction powers worked wonders on Keely. Should I even be surprised? 9-month drought?! Of course Keely will keel over Vaughn. Ha! When Keely met Vaughn, she was easily attracted and distracted by his charm.
When Vaughn started his seduction tactics with Keely, he was genuinely surprised that his charm is not doing its usual power over the seemingly good girl. He chased, seduced, and almost wooed Keely just to have her at his mercy. I enjoyed everything about this serial so far. It has the perfect combination of intrigue and sass and a high level of hotness!
I cannot wait for the second volume to come out and find out more on what’s going to happen after that scene.
