What happens when a City Guy, who happens to be an Oscar-award winning actor, meets a Country Girl, who has been an outcast for years? Will they clash? Will they click?

I have read 2 of Alessandra Torre's books (Black Lies and Tight), and I can say that Hollywood Dirt is a fun change from her previous works. While most of her books are mystery, thrillers with erotic romance, this newest standalone of hers just proves how talented of a writer she is and that she can not only give her readers mind-f*ck stories, she can also write fun characters and light stories.

Hollywood Dirt is about the crazy life of Hollywood actor, Cole Masten, and country girl, Summer Jenkins. I've imagined this type of stories as a modern day fairytale, so I'm always interested reading celebrities-ordinary guy/girl romance. Alessandra Torre wrote another addicting story to get lost into, at least that's how I felt while reading Cole and Summer. I was lost not just into their romance, but how the book was written sucked me in into their world. It was like watching a movie, I can see the location, I can hear their conversations, I can feel not just Cole and Summer's chemistry but all of the characters' rapport.

I loved every word, every scene, every character (okay, maybe except one or two), and even though slow-paced love stories bore me sometimes, I was hooked enough and enjoying myself that I only realized this little fact when I got to the end and I thought about what I have just finished reading.

Cole Masten is going through a rough and bitter divorce when his lawyer shipped him off to Quincy, the location of their movie, weeks earlier than planned. And that's where he meets Quincy local, Summer. She was attractive and feisty, and I liked that she didn't fangirl over Cole. She kept her composure and treated him like a plain old tourist instead of a hotshot celebrity. Their initial meetings were filled with bickerings, frustrating arguments, and incredibly sexy "foreplay". It was slow-paced in a way that their relationship took time to fully get there but not slow-paced that it was dragging.

Alessandra Torre made me fall in love! Hollywood Dirt is the complete package for those wanting to take a break from heavy angst reads, this book is filled with humor (hello, Cocky!), wit, and overflowing chemistry mixed well together to make a hit contemporary romance story.
