Excerpt

“What the fuck is wrong with you.” The guy that was at the head of the group asks stepping in front of my bike.
I shake my head as words are lodged in my throat.
He pulls me off my bike and the men who are with him begin yelling obscenities as well.
“Sorry.” I croak out and I don’t even know if he hears me his hand goes to the collar of my leather jacket and he shakes me hard and my hand accidently presses down on the button for the Taser to ignite it. The loud crack fills the air and his eyes go wide then he falls to the ground and I fall on my ass and crab walk backwards then look up when I hit something only to meet the eyes of another man who looks pissed.
“Get up.” He growls picking me up my feet flail under me as I’m lifted off the ground with my hands restrained behind my back.
“Hold him still.” The guy who I had Tazered growls in front of me as I try to get away from the anger I feel coming off him.  His hands go to my head and he rips my helmet off causing my hair to float down around me.
Complete silence descends I swear no one even takes a breath.

“Um.” I bite my lip.

There's no one like Aurora Rose Reynolds who can give me that "BOOM!" in her books. I'm not particularly a huge fan of "insta-love" or love at first sight romance. Sure, I get the attraction or lust at first sight and it's not like I don't believe it's possible. I do. It's just that when it comes to reading about it, sometimes it falls flat for me. ARR lifted my spirits with her Until series. I loved it! I loved the "BOOM!". 

 And now that the Mayson kids are already grown-ups and already have their own stories to tell, I am a happy reader. I've missed the Maysons. Like in the first series, Aurora Rose Reynolds wrote such fun characters with a thrilling love story. I totally didn't expect to see that this also has an MC touch to it, and I always enjoy a good MC romance that's well-presented and can get my attention from the first word until the very last.

 July Mayson easily became a favorite heroine of mine. Not even halfway through the first chapter and I already had tears in my eyes. I love that she has a gentle heart for the animals yet she's sassy and fierce. I always have a soft spot when it comes to pets in books and July being a veterinarian just made me love her story even more.
"I didn't expect to find a woman who fits me perfectly, a woman who makes me want to slide a ring on her finger just so I can show everyone she's mine, a woman who brings out every possessive and protective instinct I didn't even know I had. But that's what I found when I met July Mayson."

 Let's not forget Wes Silver. The badass. He fits perfectly in the Mayson family, if you ask me. He's super protective but super loving when it comes to the woman he loves. *dreamy sigh*

 Together, July and Wes' relationship is endearing and steamy! July doesn't balk easily against Wes, she speaks her mind and doesn't have any problem straightening things out when needed and that fits perfectly with how Wes seems to be hot-headed and easily jumps to conclusion. However, that doesn't lessen the chemistry between them, if any, it actually highlights the love they have for each other even more. They know how to handle each other and they are a perfect balance.

 Their story kept me hooked and it's a huge bonus to see the rest of the Maysons again and I cannot wait for Jax's story!!!

 Stars: 4.5 stars
Recommended to: The "Boom!" fans. This is a quick read with action and steam, get ready.

Aurora Rose Reynolds is a navy brat who's husband served in the United States Navy. She has lived all over the country but now resides in New York City with her Husband and pet fish.
